Since 1982, Habitat Chesapeake has assisted over 800 residents to become homeowners in fulfillment of our mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Offering affordable homeownership which provides generational transformation through extensive homeowner education coupled with zero interest equivalent mortgages. Over 60 new and reconstructed homes are currently planned for Baltimore City as well as Anne Arundel, Howard, and Baltimore counties.

Corporate Partners, Foundation, and Generous Donors help cover the affordability ‘gaps’ which allow homeowners to purchase homes at a price set by their income level. Professional contractors combine with faithful volunteers to build quality, energy star rated homes.

Five Central Maryland ReStores receive donated furniture and building supplies to offer residents low-cost home improvements, help save the environment, and support the mission of homeownership. (Dundalk, Timonium, Columbia, Glen Burnie, and Halethorpe.)
