When you donate to Habitat Chesapeake ReStores, you’re doing more than clearing out your space, you’re supporting affordable housing and reducing landfill waste.
Our ReStores rely on donated items to keep inventory fresh and prices low. Once your items hit the sales floor, they’re sold at a discount to the public. 100% of profits support Habitat Chesapeake’s mission to build safe, affordable homes for families in Central Maryland.
Free Pickup Available: We offer convenient donation pickup for qualifying items.

Donation Guidelines
Items We Accept
We gratefully accept new and gently used items in good, working condition, including:
- Sporting goods
- Furniture (no rips, stains, or pet damage)
- Appliances (clean and under 10 years old)
- Kitchen cabinets (complete sets preferred)
- Tools and hardware
- Lighting and electrical fixtures
- Plumbing fixtures
- Housewares and home décor
- Interior doors and some windows
- Flooring and tile
Items We Don’t Accept
To keep our team and customers safe, and to ensure quality inventory, we cannot accept the following:
- Pesticides, fluorescent bulbs (non-PCB free)
- Clothing or linens
- Electronics and computers
- Mattresses and box springs
- Opened paint or hazardous materials
- Storm windows or storm screens
- Unframed glass or mirrors
